Pay Only for the Time You Use
Your Fixer will arrive, review the project with you, and then start the clock. Work time is prorated to the minute after a one hour minimum. If your job takes 1 hour and 5 minutes to complete, you pay only for that time, no rounding up. Some jobs require more than one Fixer for safety reasons, and if that is the case, the rate is $94/hour per Fixer working quickly to complete the job.
The Right Tools and Materials for the Job
Based on the information given when you book the appointment, each Fixer arrives to your job with the right tools and materials to complete most standard projects. We only charge you for the materials we actually use on your project.
If your project requires specific materials that we don’t carry with us, like backsplash tile, drywall, a particular color of stain or paint, or specific door or fixture - we are happy to recommend, order those materials at invoice cost + 20% and deliver for a flat $50 shopping fee. No matter how many stores we need to pick up from to get your project right, that fee stays the same. We never turn on the hourly clock for shopping - and you end up saving time and money letting our experts handle things.
We Estimate and Get to Work Right Away in the Same Visit
We are typically able to provide initial estimates for most common home repair jobs with you when you contact us online or via text. We love to see photos, and you can send those along. When the Fixer arrives at your home, they will confirm the estimate with you and then proceed to start the work right away. The final cost of the project is determined based on the actual time and materials used.
If you prefer a detailed on-site estimate and not to start work right away, we will charge $94 for the visit and will credit that towards your first hour of work when we return to do the job. Please let our concierge know which you prefer when you book your job.
Larger Jobs - Project Management
We focus mainly on getting those nagging home repair projects done - and done right! But, we can sometimes help with larger “to do” lists as well. We will let you know if your request requires an on-site estimate and more detailed written estimate/project manager to complete. Our team is experienced and happy to help with those home inspection or pre-open house “punch lists”.
No two projects are alike, but here's an overview for some common ones:
